What is Connect Ed?
Connect Ed is a subsidiary corporation of CNYHHN. The formation of the company allows for the opportunity to pursue future endeavors as a lead organization to support evolving needs in our community and allow for growth of the school and community-based initiatives to strengthen the support for children and families. Establishing the company will foster the expansion of both the school and community programs, ultimately enhancing support for children and families. Connect Ed will specialize in adaptable programs and services with an emphasis on prevention for our children, young adults, families and the greater community.
CNYHHN created the footprint as an organization serving only Adults through the NYS Health Home Care Management Program to quickly diversify to serving children, adults and families with multiple programs, working with multiple systems both local and state. The footprint and foundation created has allowed our services and supports to meet the evolving needs of the individuals and families we serve and adjust to the climate of our local communities.
We believe that by addressing these interconnected needs in a comprehensive and holistic manner, we can empower young people and their families to overcome obstacles and achieve their full academic and personal potential. As a subsidiary, Connect Ed will specialize in innovative, and adaptable preventative programs to meet the evolving needs of our children, families and community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support and connect with children through young adults, their families and the community that are facing a spectrum of difficulties. These range from fundamental needs like food and housing to intricate medical, behavioral, and mental health issues, as well as challenges in socialization and belonging, all of which can hinder academic and overall success.
